ESP Releases Completely Web-Based ecoAsset Manager™ Version 10.0

Mountain View, CA, January 24, 2008 – Today ESP announced the release of Version 10.0 of its industry leading ecoAsset Manager™ software for management of emissions allowance and credit (ecoAssets) portfolios. With this version ecoAsset Manager™ is now a completely browser based solution. Enterprise users need nothing more than their normal web browser on their desktop to make use of the software. Initially released in 1994, ecoAsset Manager™ has been the solution of choice for companies requiring auditable tracking and management of their emission allowance and credit portfolios. Initially created for the US Acid Rain Program SO2 allowances, today the software is being used by companies on three continents, tracking allowances and credits ranging from the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) to the Australian Greenhouse Gas Challenge program.

New capabilities provided with the ecoAsset Manager™ Version 10.0 release include:

• Compliance Planning Dashboard. A new compliance planning dashboard built on ESP’s opsInfo™ platform allows users to look across years using different emissions plans and for different companies and subsidiaries, and see the relationship between allowance holdings and various emissions scenarios.
• Advanced Security and Historical Tracking. Access to the system can be controlled to support business processes where activities are restricted to certain individuals or groups.
