IHS customer product and service solutions span four major areas of information: energy, environment, security and product lifecycle.

The acquisition of ESP deepens and extends our ability to provide you with the best possible sustainability information solutions and services, and strengthens the IHS position as a global leader in the environment information domain at a time when environmental and sustainability issues are of significant and growing importance to businesses and governments worldwide.

As a combined company, our position will be enhanced in the marketplace and our opportunities for growth will increase.

The acquisition is expected to close by the end of the month, pending shareowner approval and normal closing considerations.
